Each year, the Foundation will hold two seminars to help osteopaths improve their skills and competencies in the osteopathic care of children. For the year 2023, the FCERO is offering three evenings of training on osteopathic care of children for the benefit of the Foundation.
The « Friends of the Foundation » workshops will be held at the College of Osteopathic Studies of Montreal starting in January 2023:
Each course will be video recorded. Participants who have registered for a course are invited to attend in person or to view the recorded version afterwards.
Workshop 1: How to integrate electromagnetic fields and the energetic approach in osteopathy when treating young children? (January 20, 2023) Hosted by Ms. Denyse Dufresne, president of the Foundation, inaugurator and head of the Journées de l’Enfant.
Workshop 2: How to interact in pediatric osteopathy with more complex parents? (February 7, 2023) Hosted by Ms. Caroline Cressens, clinical supervisor for the Foundation’s Children’s Days.
Workshop 3: Tips, exercises and positioning. To provide parents with some tools to integrate movement in their child’s daily life. (April 6, 2023) Hosted by Pascale-Julie Robinson, clinical supervisor for the Journées de l’enfant and member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
- For Friends of the Foundation members at the « Bronze » level: $125 per workshop
- For Friends of the Foundation « Silver » level members: 1 workshop included per year – $125 per additional workshop
- « The Osteopath’s Preferred Choice » – For Friends of the Foundation « Gold » level members: 2 workshops included per year
Non-member price: $125 per workshop / no tax receipt
All proceeds from these training sessions will go directly to fund the Children’s Days of the Foundation, pediatric osteopathic teaching and research.
